WoW Porn

Posted in Uncategorized on November 2nd, 2007

I find this movie quite entertaining, what’s your take?

The Internet is for porn… quite an engaging title for a machinima.

Nightelf Sex Goddess

Tell me it ain’t so! Especially, coming from a dwarf (me)!

Nightelf Sex Goddess

Some say this is how WoW version 4.0 (circa 2012) will look like.

Best powerleveling guide

Posted in Uncategorized on October 9th, 2007

A lot of people are asking what’s the best way to powerlevel their alts. WoW Glider and other WoW bots aside, the legit way to go about it is a combination of three things:

1) questing – getting the right quests (a quest guide comes handy here)
2) grinding – killing mobs that are relatively easy (it could mean finding cloth wearers or twinking your gear)
3) getting a friend – a high-level char that will kill whatever you tap; it makes you go through mobs quickly

There’s a free WoW guide out that’s relatively comprehensive: Jame’s Guide. I’ve linked the Alliance powerleveling guide but there should be a Horde version as well.

Pandemic win 3:0

Posted in Uncategorized on September 29th, 2007

wow arena scoreTeam Pandemic won 3:0 against Fnatic. They went through 63 Chinese teams, 1 European team and 1 US team to claim the title WSVG World of Warcraft Champions.

Going back to their press release from a month ago, the team has progressed really well.

Mark Dolven, President of TeamPandemic LLC, had this to say: “I am very excited to see the Team Pandemic brand expanded in to the World of Warcraft universe. The group of guys that we have been able to recruit are the best in the business. We cannot wait to see what they accomplish for themselves as part of our teams. We will provide them with every tool they need to become the best World of Warcraft team in the world. The sky is the limit for these guys.”

Man, I hope he doesn’t mean they’ve been using Chinese farmers and bots to hone their skills!

Anyway, if you want to know what team Pandemic’s gear is, look no further. Here’s Power Trip’s gear.

WoW Credit

Posted in Uncategorized on September 19th, 2007

If you think Blizzard are not creative when it comes to printing money, think again. (This is not how you can get WoW gold on credit!)

Look at this Visa – it has a WoW hunter on it’s cover!

WoW Credit card

The big deal about the card is that if you use it, you get an amazing 1% back as game credit – i.e. spend $1,500 and get 1 month free.

It looks stupid now but wait till they figure you can personalize with your hunter in full Tier 6 gear. Then it will be something I’d consider!

WoW bot: Glider

Posted in Uncategorized on September 9th, 2007

The guys at the Markee Dragon are doing a review of a wow bot, the WoW Glider.

Be warned, however, use of bots violates the T&C which means Blizzard can (and will) ban accounts where botting is detected.

I’m not saying I enjoy pharming gold but frankly, I don’t mind doing it once in a while. If the glider could get me Gronstalker’s Armor, maybe I’ll think about it!

Skyshatter Harness

Posted in Uncategorized on September 2nd, 2007

Skyshatter HarnessMy alt is a Shaman so I was checking out the shaman tier 6 armor – Skyshatter Harness.

All I can say is it’s a LOT more flexible. Hunter only have one option while shaman have three!

Make sure you scroll all the way, it’s a pretty long image.

LOTRO – a threat to WoW?

Posted in Uncategorized on August 6th, 2007

LOTRO dwarfLord of the Rings Online (a.k.a. LOTRO) officially launched yesterday. I downloaded the public beta from Gamespot but never got around to testing it.

Now I wonder if LOTRO is any better than WoW. Reading some of the comments at Gamespot, it seems there are two kind of opinions… I’ll highlight them here:

Type 1: This game is a total rip off on wow and is the worst game I played in years. I don’t recommend it to anyone…

This is not an MMORPG.. MORE like an RPG with a chat engine built in!

Type 2: Only loyal WoW fans will rate this game an idiotic rating of 1-5. Think logically here as a gamer and you will see more! One thing for a fact that will separate this game away from wow, is the limited PVP (only included in Monster Play). You are allowed to duel of course however the game isn’t focused around pvp. It is definitely geared towards the RolePlaying and Player vs Environment communities…

What’s your take, has anyone got to level 10 (or whatever LOTRO equivalent is)?

WoW interview: Rob Pardo

Posted in Uncategorized on May 19th, 2007

WoW interview: Rob PardoNext Gen has an interview with Rob Pardo, Blizzard’s chief Game Designer. He’s the guy behind Blizzard’s monstrous success of a MMO, World of Warcraft.

I ask him if getting these expansions out on a regular basis is a matter of survival. After all, if gamers aren’t getting fresh content, they’ll start looking elsewhere and WoW’s subscriber base will dwindle.

“Calling it a matter of survival makes it sound grim,” he says, “It’s more a matter of entertainment. Of course we want our gamers to stay in the world for as long as we can. But I look at this from the positive angle of us trying to entertain them. We’re trying to give them new experiences. One of my favorite analogies is how much an MMO is like a TV series. We’re developing episodes just like Lost or Seinfeld. We’re always trying to come up with something that’s true to the theory; that’s true to the content that people love; but that is new. From the moment that the series starts re-treading the same ground over and over again… well, that’s what we’re trying to avoid.”

Here’s something else that caught my attention:

We have other PC projects in development and we’re already working on new stuff for World of Warcraft, like another expansion. We’ve mentioned in the past that we’d love to get a boxed expansion out every year but it’s more important to deliver really high quality content to our fans. If we can do that every year that’d be great but we’re not going to do that at the expense of the experience.

Hmm, does that mean Blizzard is working on Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2. Only time will tell.

A note about Diablo 2 resources: Diablo Downloads, Diablo Cheats, Diablo Save Games, Diablo Item Editor, Diablo Hero Editor, Diablo Rune Words, Diablo Maphack, Diablo 2 CD Keys, Diablo 2 ISO, Diablo 2 Utilities, Diablo cheat codes, and Diablo 1.11 no-CD.
