Blizzcon: Call in the Marines
Blizzcon first day is over but not before the Terran marines get their much awaited debut.
Personally, I’m not a Terran player. I’ve played Protoss for years and later switched to Zerg (to counter arguments that the Protoss were the “twinky”-est race of the three!). However, let me tell you - I’d love to sink my teeth into some prime Marine ribs. I meant if I were a zergling.
OK, besides the Marines, we have the whole Terran infantry marching: Marines, Reapers, and Ghosts. In the screenshot above there’s even the first infantry support vehicle - the Viking THOR. It’s an improvement of the Goliath (much needed one) and has a much more MECH feel to it.
Compared to the review of the Protoss units, the details are still a bit sketchy with things very much being subject to change. Nevertheless, I’ll try to review each of the new Terran units separately.

That “mech” is not a viking, it is a unit called “Thor”

ummm dude ur information is horribly wrong. first, in this picture those arent reapers, they look to b medics. second thats not the viking, that unt is too huge 2 be the viking. its is probably sum new unit that blizzard has not revealed yet (mayb a special unit like the mothership) and the viking can also transform into a fighter jet.(check starcraft2.com)

Yeah, like those two said, you are horribly wrong. Those are medics, and marines. That large thing off to the right is Thor.

OK, dudes, I corrected it - it IS a THOR. I didn’t say there’s reapers in the screenshot … Anyway, I probably used the wrong expression here when I said the whole Terran infantry is marching…
Marching to hell if you ask me! I’ve always hated the Terrans so here, you have it.

Hey the terrans r the best man and the protoss is to! the zerg r the dumb 1s that mostly count on numbers and cant go 1on1.

Have you even seen any Starcraft 2 websites? There are no ghosts or reapers and the thor is not an improvement of the goliath. the terrans are definitly so much better that the zerg as well. Any equvilant unit in the terran tech tree is way better than thet zerg as well.

I no this is way off topic but Ive noticed watching one of the tarren gamplay vids is that the building that reapers come out of has a danceing night elf from world of warcraft and its in plain sight 2 they don’t even try to hide it. It kind of sickens me to see this because so many ppl play wow and to make even more money they sorta of do the wink wink nudge nudge type of thing to make you want 2 buy and play wow. i guess its sublimminal messaging which means you suggest somthing and a person does it i dont really get how that works but…thats how that works..
