Diablo 3 is available for pre-order already! There’s a site that states there are only 55 days to the release. Here’s the screenshot.
To be honest, this looks like a cheap way for this (unnamed) site to get your pre-order. Now, I’m not saying they’ll grab your money and run… but you’ll be looking at a LOOOOOOONG wait, possibly a year.
That’s the reason I’m not going to post a link to the site. Instead, I suggest you head to Cologne, where the Gamescom is taking place in 20 days. You’ll be able to play Diablo 3 there:

Anyway, Blizzard aren’t going to launch the game without a beta, so make sure you enter your email in the Diablo 3 beta notification list.
The website it’s up for preorder on is sketchy at best.

Anyone notice there release date for Starcraft 2 is also 25th of September on that website?
Well, Starcratf 2 might be released this year, so Sept 25 isn’t too far out.
But you make a good point: stay away from these unknown pre-order sites, the risks are not worth it.
I have a question, do you really think there will be a beta testing period for diablo3? its not like its a MMOG or something.
Well, there was a open beta (stress test) for Diablo 2 that I took part in, so I’m pretty sure there will be one for Diablo 3 as well.
Also, Blizzard have confirmed an open beta for Starcraft 2, so it’s pretty much Blizzard tradition to welcome comments from beta testers.

How long do Beta’s normally run for and from the time it finishes when would the game be completed?
