Im sure the game will be released, but as for anything beyond great content, dont be so sure this game was worth 10 years of waiting, not that I think any video game is, but think of it as good marketing, anything to keep you talking about blizzard, anything to keep you in the scope of theyre media, well its working rite now isnt it??? I feel sorry for some of you, I put my copies of D2 away like 5 years ago, and until tonight had completely forgotten about this game altogether. Dont get me wrong, this was an excellent game (D2), especially by means of storyline and character class and skill structure. Sure it could have used a few improvements like maybe selecting a point in the storyline to start at at will, or improving online play (adding new elements).

blizz dont give a f#$*, they want to milk wow till its over then scrap diablo 3, i dont know how you can work on a game for 10 years and have 3 classes to show us, i wonder how much content they have just thrown away because its been 10 years and was based for computers using windows 98

The release may have been delayed because of the people leaving Blizzard? Like Runic who made “torchlight”.

They made the game very fast and it’s a mix of D1/D2 with the graphic quality of D3…

If anyone’s having a doubt that this games going to be amazingly sick your retarded.

They may have announced it much too early but who gives a shit. Marketing is a game and I think if Blizzard wants to tell us the game is coming out earlier than their supposed to all the power to them.

Also on the fact that they have been working on it since 2005 either says two things: they are adding a lot of extra content or their was a problem when Blizzard North was closed.

As for a release, I’m guessing either Q3 or Q4 of 2010 so don’t get your panties in a bunch and in the mean time I’m getting excited for a good game.

im not worried even a bit when D3 gets among us, blizzard know what they are doing and when the game will actually be available and they wont release till “they” are ready.

all i will say is this….D2 was ok but got boring always having to restart after disposing of DIABLO. I havent been near the game in maybe 4 or 5 years and it will have to be a lot better 3rd time around to sustain my continual interest

I am sure BLIzZARD are very aware there is lots competion out there if the game becomes boring like last time

I will say D3 Started Dev in 2005, 2010 is 5 years?

Owell I would recommend blizzard not announce games so far ahead of release you are getting the ripple effect by dick teasing your fans, frankly if I don’t see d3 or star craft 2 before April of 2009 I will have lost interest completely.

Chances are good after April of next year most will wait till its bargain bin.

The longer this gets dragged on I come to two conclusions

#1 the announcement of both titles was a PR stunt to create buzz for blizzard
#2 The announcement of both titles so long before their release was very stupid move on blizzards part.

In ending with all this dev time I expect something way better than dragon age origins.
