When Mike Morhaime officially moved Diablo 3′s release date to 2012, he said there’s still hope for a 2011 release but more realistically, it will come in early 2012.
Everyone was excited that at least Blizzard had moved from the SOON (which is of course shorthand for “as soon as it’s ready) to something more specific. Most looked for precedents of Blizzard missing a holiday season only to launch the game in February. Well, that’s certainly not going to happen this time.
During the latest investor conference call, Mike Morhaime said:
“Given the popularity of the action RPG genre, and the keen interest in Diablo III, we expect this launch to be a big opportunity for Blizzard. We can also confirm that we are targeting a Q2 launch for Diablo III”.
So there it is, brace yourselves for a May-June release. Remember to be wary of any retailer who claims Diablo 3 will release on April 1. It’s definitely a joke.
Why don’t you folks at Blizzard just keep working on Diablo 3 (like you have been) and STOP TELLING US ANYTHING ABOUT A RELEASE DATE!!! You folks are just like the “boy that cried wolf!!” You get all of our hopes up about a release date…….and then you change it!!! What a sham, and what a SHAME ON YOU!!! No body regardless of their age likes to be lied to or teased about something that they are looking forward to. What kind of professionals do you claim to be treating all of your customers, and would be customers like sheep!!??

iv been waiting for your game to come out fo rlike 4 years now but threlase will never come obviously blizzard your a scam just so ppl keep going to ur website so your name still looks improtant screw it i dont care for the game anymore im too old to play video games any more its all a scam what a joke you guys need to get ur shit together. Me and my buddy were excited that the gamewas comming out like 4 years ago it was our favorite game ever but unfortionatley he passed away last year and never got a chance to play it because of your unorganized load of lies
