Alwyn B has gone out of his way to think of a way to make Diablo 3 less of a click-fest.
The layout assumes that Diablo 3 will be similar to Diablo 2 in terms of its isometric perspective. It might be that Diablo 3 is more flexible – like WoW or Hellgate.
Try to improve it so you can use a skill by hitting a button. Like f1-f8 skills that the player can change what skills are assigned these buttons. Thankyou
Hope you are using the warrior, rogue, and the sorcerer in the third one. That would be cool if you did. If not I know that D3 will still be worth playing and still very enjoyable.
Personally i think the diablo keyboard layout right now is fine, maybe better use of num pad though i donno.

i was a huge diablo 2 fan. i am pretty excited for d3 if they decide to make one. that would be fricken awesome if they made a controller just for d3 but i doubt they would want to spend the money on that. Good idea tho. d2 controls were fairly simple i thought. i dont know depends on if they are going to change the game to an MMORPG or not if so they will need to change the contrls if not they wont need to make 2 many adjustments.

why make the game more click free. I love the mouse. it make it easy. I play d2 and there is the bug ( you could say ). when u move the roller as fast as possible it banndes you from the game for 5 MIN!!!!

I think we should be able to switch from the orignal Diablo 2 or Diablo 3 from the options menu. that would be a good idea I think.
