No, the biggest news is that Blizzard is a sell out: you will be able to purchase items with real money. Ok, not you but other people with money. And no, it will not be profitable to farm items, because the Chinese farmers are so much more effective. So expect to pay money for equipment.

You guys are morons. Blizzard is NOT looking to take our money in this way. The thing about it is that the players themselves will be the ones selling items. Blizzard is not going to be selling any items. Players will only be buying items from other players.
Great news about Diablo 3. I quit my job and live playing.
Blizzard is only capitalizing on the profits of other websites who sell equipment for Diablo 2. Blizzard must of found their extra revenue of money.
