We have a long time to wait for Diablo 3’s release so a ton of rumors have gone by. This last one has to do with the possibility of a console version for Diablo 3.
Here’s what J. Allen Brack has to say:
We just want to make the right game for the right platform.
Think about StarCraft II. Some real-time strategy games have tried to happen on the console. Some of those have been successful, but overall, our experience is that it’s going to be a better game on the PC, ergo it’s developed on the PC.
But we’re a company of gamers. I have two consoles at home. Sam has consoles. We’re a culture of gamers. We will definitely work on a console game at some point. I have no doubt about that. It’s just [a matter of] what game. What makes the most sense?
Does that mean that Diablo 3 will grace Playstation 3 or maybe Xbox? I don’t know. But the LAN party days are kinda over, so it makes sense for Blizzard to go for mass appeal.

Blizzard would be so lucky if they could even manage to get a playable version out for my cell-phone?, let alone my PS3.
By then , we’ll all probably have PS4’s.
Its been almost a freekin’ “decade”, and still NO D3 for my PC !
How ’bout Dec.21st, 2012 (end-of-world according to Mayan Calendar), -that way, Blizzard would have yet another excuse for a “no-realease”.
lol i agree with PessimisticAmI, it will take waaaayy too long for them to release it on PC yet alone freakin xbox 360 and ps3… i mean seriously they only got what like 40 people working on it anyways.. goodluck with that. Not to mention the concept of it will be pointless because they will most probably divide the battle.net serves into xbox 360 (or watever xbox is out by them0, PS3, and PC meaning if ur mate buys it on xbox 360 and u buy it on PC u wont be able to play together, but if they make it the same server it will just delay the game for another fukn year
Seriously? Cool! Oh wait… it will probably come out in another two years! Hallgate London for PC sucks. Maybe its just my computer or its Vista, but the graphics are really, really slow… Frozen Throne is getting kinda boring… havn’t played D2 since it killed my computer three years ago… never got D3… my 360 needs some more amazing games! Come on Blizzard, pick up the pace!
dudes back of them they should make it for 360 and ps3 they should aslo if they do make it multi player 1-4 or 1-2 its awesome wat they did to diablo 1 for the playstation 1 where u can play 2 player
It’ll NEVER happen for x-box just so you know. Ps3 possibly, but the xbox cant process that. it would freeze up or lag out. or RRoD. Hopin to see it on the ps3 myself. My Ps3 can outperform a lot of pc’s, so why not? Not gonna hold my breath though..
come on blizzard make it on the ps3 yea it will be hard but you guys will get like wayy more muny than you will if you juts make it on pc nd i also love diablo coolest game ever nd will be a shame if i cant get to play my most favourite game.Come on make it on ps3 it will be soo cool playing online with others k hope you think bout this one.
