The only Characters they will transfer over was going to be the Barb, they wanted the game to be as fresh as possible, they may merge some Chars together to make a new one like they have done with the WitchDoctor.

Uhh guys…… first of all diablo 3 is going to have 5 Classes/Characters. Yes you can Change your gender on your classes. There is most likely gonna be a expansion… adds like 3-5 more characters.. they havnt said what other classes on d3 is going to be besides Witchdoctor and Barbarian. No the game will not be Free. and i pray that d3 will not be a mmo .. i’d rather have it like d2 bnet and if u dont like online there is also SinglePlayer.theres rumors about it coming in at FEBURARY 2009…. so yeah… guys we still got a long wait… but also i think Witchdoctor replaced Necromancer… i also hope they got TrapSin… its the best ! so yeah. guys u gotta wait

y cant sum1 leave a comment sayin what characters there will be i came to this website to find out. Is it the same or is there more because i realy want to know so can someone please leave a comment sayin this to me. I play diablo 2 closed and open on open i have kick ass hacks funki and even legits and on closed were there is no hacks i ahve a lvl 97 zon, 94 druid, and 99 barb took a long time to make em but it was worth it so thank you for listening plz post and comment character

to necrophobia, it’s a matter of sales statistics and that kind of stuff, europe is a much bigger region than America when you look at the population statistics. Besides, blizzard is a european (German i think) company. therefore it would be alot easier to first release it in europe than America. america almost never get a game first, it would be like stealing money frome 1 kid and then walk away when there is 4 kids standing next to him that you could have stolen the money from.

ok i did a search on youtube and i found out that diablo is using healing orbs after killing creators. If its true then i think it would make the game easyer and not as fun as the other diablo games. I think it was better when you had to use potions.

Ok first there is going to be 5 classes and each one of them you can choose female and male and no one knows yet when the game will be released becuse only 2 classes been created and there is 5 and plus they want to make this game fun, exiting and polished as much as possible!:)

Why In Gods Name… would you do that.

You get you’re Warrior,You’re Mage,you’re Archer, N some Other cool Class like A Druid or Paladin or what not.

You don’t Get a Witch Doctor and A barbarian and you say there Were done.

You just don’t …

I Hope they Make some more Classes … If not I don’t think I’ll be playing this.

they must keep the druid ive beaten the game with every character the druid is one of the funest to play the game with it will be a disapponment if they get rid of the druid.

i think if they added a character that was half-human half-devil(or half-dragon) or maybe a character that is half-human and half-angel would be way sick and the idea of creating your character farther then before would be cool.

i think they should throw in a BIGGER VERIATY of WEAPONS

Personally i think that the Witch Doctor Sucks. Although i find that the abilities are plain beautiful, i think that the design of the WD is just horribly outplaced in the Diablo universe. I would rather have the good old necromancer back. This “Witch Doctor is just a War3 Witch Doctor (same name!) and walks and stands like a troll. This is not improving the design of the game: this is Copy-Pasting.
The classes that i would rather see improved are the paladin and necromancer. Inkeeping with the Gothic-Fantasy theme, these two were the ones that REALLY fit 100 per cent in a universe with this definition. (Mind you, i have played EVERY class in diablo so far, and i liked them all). I think that the sorceress should be improved by making a spellcasting class similar to Drognan in a way, a mage that can summon creatures and control the elements in a sort of Vizier style.

The horror, music and just plain out creepyness was wat diablo 1 had. And i agree that was bad@$$. but the fact that not every char was unique in everyway is wat tore me from D1 to D2. The only dif was stats, physical features, and the fact that som chars were better with certain weps. but it wasn’t enough. they could all hav the same skills, armor and wat not. But thats where WoW coms in. its a bad@$$ game but definitly to cartoony and the F***ing skill tree is a pain the @$$. But if Diablo 3 can keep similar gameplay or better, WoW graphics, diablo 1 environment persay, (and not jus two chars, hopfully they’ll make more soon) a long good storyline with some quests (not 1000 like WoW) then F*** YEA i’ll buy my own laptop JUST 4 diablo 3. Id be willing to spend over a grand and a half 4 a laptop just for that game! Not getting my hopes up tho. and sure ain’t buyin that laptop till i know.

I agree with Guy on this matter completely. Diablo 2 was a let down when I first played, but have come to accept it (as I do enjoy the multiplayer aspects and I have lost my Diablo 1 ) Diablo 1, when I first played it in grade 7 under the house in the basement (study) with the lights off, breeze blowing in the window and volume loud sent shivers down my spine and made spin in my chair just to make sure no evil dispicable foul creatures were sneaking up on me O.o

I loved that game, and I hope that Blizzards take the original horror of Diablo 1 into the creation of Diablo 3.

Bring on the swetting, the shivers and the switching off the computer and walking away to hide under the blankets.

LONG LIVE DIABLO 1!!

I think diablo 2 was a great game and fun to play, but its amost a completly different game to diablo 1. Other then 1 or 2 things its almost no relation to the 1st game at all. Being able to customise your character could be alright but not going to make/break the game. Some guy has a lot of good points, dont agree 100% but meh lol. i liked where u said Tell me, what explains a god damned yetti?!?! i loled. diablo 1 definitly had a ‘darker’ theme to it. if someone showed me diablo 2 but didnt tell me the name i dont think i could guess it was diablo. diablo 1 was more like 10 enemies small room find a way to kill them, diablo 2 1000 enemies large area small some spell wipe them all out, though ad thing in diablo 1 was being able to duplicate lol. and the walking to the witch lol. the skill tress in diablo 2 killed the exitment of finding a book. even thought each char had 3 skill trees there were pretty much a select set of spells u would get cause all the rest just sucked, if u go on diablo 2 online how often u c a sorc with hydra or anything, only ever uses frozen orb. to ‘ur all retarded’ your just a complete moron who should waste him time somewhere else.

i dont agree with the wow beating the crap outa diablo because it appeals to a younger crowd, but when you are 16,17, or 18 that cartoon bullshit just gets on your nerves, and yea… by the way look at the skills bar… just like wows…. i dont think diablo has a chance in hell

and theres another problem too, but a much MUCH bigger one.

idc if its graphics look like wow, or it holds some similarities, but if the gameplay is like wow, we have a problem. diablo 1, the original, was amazing because it scared people with its atmosphere into playing it. you walked through a big huge cathedral that had 14 or 15 floors (i forget) barely being lit by torches only to find a body that was impaled on a spear, not some cartoony zombies or some lost gaurds.

theres a reason why wow beat the crap outta diablo and thats cuz it was 3D and was bigger. i think the concept of diablo was much much better than wow’s.

wow isnt the best game out there, i think diablo definetly has the potential to beat it, but it cant beat it if it turns into it…
