Blizzard announced today its BlizzCon event will happen in early August - about a hundred days from now.
The event itself will be held for 2 days. Make sure you reserve August 3 and 4 for a trip to Anaheim, California.

starcraft was release in 98, diablo went on shelf in 2000 and warcraft3 in 2002, Wow in 2005 and his expansion is release, now late 2007 what to expect??? certainly an announcement.

Also, if blizzard checks how many people are still playing starcraft and D2,
they must see how it is still so populair.
If i was an game disinger i would know what to do.
Maybe Blizzard IS developing it and want to keep it secret for some sort of selling boost when the games suddenly comes out… ?

well heres the thing if they announce the date and everyone goes out and gets one and then something new comes out and they have to update so they push it back what might happen? they have been busy with WoW as far as i can tell so they have even put it on the shelf for abit ya know like its almost done and all ive seen the interview about a d3 or starcraft 2 they said a new game was coming out in 2007 id expect it around either end of sumer or early fall if ya ask me or later to many things coming out now it might go unnoticed by those who dont know the series very well thats my thinking it has happened before (nwn2 though the game sucked)
Well, now that we all know it is Starcraft, i’d like to say that the idea of making a Diablo 3 would ruin Diablo, we’ve already killed him twice!

Well, Diablo has shown up a number of times on the BlizzCon banners now, I think this is it, Diablo III will be announced in August.
Hello loyal fans!
Where to start? Well, currently we are working on many great titles. Diablo 3 is going to be coming out early 2008. This game will stay true to the main “Hack & Slash” style of Diablo 2 but will also include guns. The game is also slated to be a true MMORPG, with a monthly fee of about 20$.
We are currently working on some great things, but wanted to get input from some of the fan base, YOU! How would you guys feel about a Psionicist class? Able to use his mind to bend the powers of heaven or hell. They would also be able to inflict massive mental damage, cause insanity and other mental ailments. In PVP they would be strong as they could project hallucinations into the mind of adversaries, causing them to attack “Shadow” copies instead of the actual Psionicist. This copies could also be controlled by the Psionicist.
We are also thinking about adding mounts to the game. This will allow characters to travel at 200% normal walk/run speed. The mounts currently in the planning phase are a giant ethereal maggot. This maggot will have the ability to burrow beneath the hell soil when not being ridden. It can then be given a command to erupt from the crust behind an enemy and cause massive acid damage to their armor.
Another mount would be a gargoyle horse. Made of stone, and capable of leaping great distances.
Well guys, I’m sorry we left you in the dark for so long, but we are very busy here at Blizzard. Working on Diablo 3: Incinerati, Starcraft 2, and the newest expansion for World of Warcraft: Northrend, Assault of the Lich King.

Uh fake?.. Lots of typos in there like ‘Assault of the Lich King,” Known for a long time now that its Wrath.. The wouldnt ask public for help with the game, Blizzard loves surprise, they wouldnt be putting it in so much detail about mounts and gun weapons either..
