You can forget about that… Diablo has become Blizzard’s bastard child. They’re probably going to deny they ever did it … which is close to the truth as Blizzard North did it and they have left the company a long time ago.

You forgot about the Diablo Pinata, what better relief than you beat the game you hate? I don’t think that they’ll ever deny it, even make a Diablo 3…
Sadly the business execs generally just look at the overall numbers… SC sold about as much as diablo did, but didn’t have the same massive server upkeep costs. Also SC has that massive tournament scene, whereas diablo doesn’t. When they’re looking at what to make next they’re looking at whats going to make them the most money. While Diablo 3 would probably make just as much or more money than SC2 will, when they look at the numbers SC2 is far more appealing to produce. Unfortunately I think diablo 3 is just a pipe dream for Diablo fans at this point :/
I think it’s pretty obvious that their next new game will be Diablo 3, you guys should just chill and wait for the Paris WWI…
are you kidding? they’re already working on SC2 check out starcraft2.com Then they might do a SC MMO or D3
But at least you can tell that some work on D3 is getting done.

In regaurd to Blizzard’s neglect of a D3, I must say that as a loyal Blizzard fan I have been Quite swayed by the unbearable waits, and the numerous corporate cash-ins(courtesy of WOW) that have dominated the Blizzard game basis. And Diablo at that is still one of the most enjoyable franchises in recent(well not so much)years and the fan base would shorely appreciate the coming of a now potentialy legendary sequel. Only Blizz can do it,get to it then

Patience fools! Patience. How long has it been between starcraft titles? A decade. They began work on it not long after War 3. Obviously they take their time. That’s what makes their games great. Blizzard does things according to their own schedule. The April fools jokes were all based on current announced projects to make them actually funny. They will come back to Diablo. Give it another 3 years before you write off the franchise. That and realize they’ve not been neglecting it thanks to the novels. Read those and wonder what they build up to.
