Diablo II Heroes: Paladin Analysis The Paladin is probably one of the most powerful characters in Diablo II - the top heroes at the Battle.net Ladder are mostly paladins. His high hit points, good strength, and arsenal of weapons make him a fierce fighter. Add the offensive and defensive auras, and you get a very well-rounded and fun to play character. It doesn't matter which skill tree you look at: Combat Skills, Offensive Auras, or Defensive Auras - they all serve to make him a tougher fighter. He cannot have more than one Aura at a time but that is compensated by the low mana consumption. Most Auras cost very little and will provide him with continuous effects. Conclusion The Paladin looks like the most powerful character in Diablo II. His offensive auras are very useful in combat and allow him to destroy monsters with awesome effectiveness.
