There are several types of Amazons depending on your build: Bowazons, Spearazon, Jabazon, Javazon, and Tankazon.

I've played the demo first and I loved the Amazon. She relies equally on melee and ranged attacks and this means you'll have to distribute your skill points evenly. Note that her ranged attacks requires ammunition and mana (if you use a skill such as multi-shot).

The Amazon is the most versatile fighter of all Diablo 2 heroes but playing her requires a good balance of melee and ranged skills as well as good tactical skills.
